About Joy

Joy Malin is an artist and art instructor based in New York City.  A working artist for more than 45 years, Ms. Malin creates art objects using a variety of media, including oil on canvas. 

For the past few years she has focused on "Pet Portraits". These are commissioned works, always one of a kind and highly personalized.

These portraits now hang in homes across this country as well as the United Kingdom and Europe. 

The New York Times was kind enough to write an article in the Metro Section about my "Pet Portraits".

It has been an exciting time and very rewarding.
