Pet Portraits

For years, I have created pet portraits for friends and family, sharing them as gifts during the holidays or for special occasions. These one-of-a-kind, highly-personalized pieces of art celebrate and commemorate the special relationships shared between a pet and their caretaker - one that is very close to my heart.

In 2010, I began painting commissioned pet portraits. These portraits now hang in homes across this country and around the world, and were featured in The New York Times article titled "On Canvas, Capturing a Dog's Soul".

How to commission at pet portrait:

Commissioning a pet portrait for yourself or a loved one is simple:

- First, send me a note via my contact form with a description of the what you are looking for. For example, please let me know what type of animal you would like painted and an approximate size you would like the painting to be.

- Second, I will set up a consultation to discuss your request further and finalize details. Please be ready to send me photos of your pet in advance of our consultation.

- Third, I get started on your portrait. A completed pet portrait typically takes one month. Once complete, I'll email you a photo of the final product and the painting will be mailed to you by "Sent", experts in mailing fine art. That's it!

Please note, a $100.00 non refundable deposit is required to begin a painting.
