I asked my student Onix to write something for my website.  I had no idea he was going to touch me so deeply with his words.  I am so fortunate to have the privilege to teach!

I was trying to come up with something clever to say on your blog; I wanted to say how important you are to me and how different my life is because of you, but I could not think of something good so, I thought and thought and I remembered what you always tell me "In case of doubt look at the masters" so I did and this is what he has to say about you:

a fool sees not the same tree that a wise man (woman) sees.
he whose face gives no light, shall never become a star.
eternity is in love with the productions of time.
the busy bee has no time for sorrow.
the hours of folly are measured by the clock;
but of wisdom, no clock can measure.     - William Blake

 As a teacher of individual and group art classes for over 20 years, I find art instruction to be a truly wonderful and rewarding experience - for both my students and me! I like to learn about my students' interests and goals in order to tailor a course of study for each person or group. I work with absolute beginners, advanced artists and everything in between. I am always happy to talk to potential students of all ages and abilities.
